The last time I seen him was in 1862. He was carried to Waco; his mother's name was Cherry Hicks, she died in Nash- ville; her oldest sisters' name was Sharlette, the youngest, Heneritte his brother's name was Washing- ton Landis, I belong then to Lani- gan.
