like to find my brothers, Elijah Hawkins, who was raised by Hawkins in Nashville Tenn., was brought out to Henderson Texas in 1892, was living with Lsnigan on Sabean River when he was sold to Nute Smith. The last time I seen him was in 1862. He was carried to Waco; his mother's name was Cherry Hicks, she died in Nash- ville; her oldest sisters' name was Sharlette, the youngest, Heneritte his brother's name was Washing- ton Landis, I belong then to Lani- gan.
