MR. EDITOR-- I wish to inquire for a friend of mine. We grew up together. He was older than I was. I have not seen him in thirteen years. We belonged to Judge Campbell, in Columbus, Texas, on the side of the river. Judge Campbell bought him when a little boy. He could just remember his mother. He stayed with my mother, grandmother and uncle, named Harriet, Charlotte and Solomon respectively. We called him Billy, but since that time he goes by the name of William Wesley.
