MR. EDITOR-Please inquire for my Sister Nettie who left us at Paraclifta, Sevier county. Arkan sas, in 1879 or 1880, at that time I was not married. My husband is G. J. Izard, he is a preacher. He taught school here the year after she left. Mother, Sisters Nettie, Laura, and myself, were members of the M. E. Church, converted un- der preachings of dear elder G. W. Sams, who was at that time presiding elder of Hot Springs district, Arkansas Conference Father was Franklin Smith; moth- er, Mahala Smith. Sister Nettie's husband was Jefferson Brooks.
