DEAR EDITOR—I desire information of my people, I was sold in Richmond, Va., about 1858, at the death of my owner. My native home is in Caroline Co., Va. Dick White was my owner. I had seven sisters—Harriett Ann, Sarah, Emily, Ellen, Lucinda, Jemima and Maria ; and three brothers—Henry, Dennis and Robert. Harriett married and is now Harriett White, Mother's name is Mary Green, and father's Robert Green. We were all sold in Richmond, Va., about the year 1858. I was sold to Solomon Davis, who kept a traders' yard, and then was sold to Wm Gaines, who brought me to Gaines' Landing, Ark., on the Mississippi river, where I am now living.
