MR. EDITOR--I wish to inquire for my father and mother. Mother's name was Lucy; father's, Wallace. I also had a brother and sister named Matilda and Alex. All belonged to John Dobbins, of Walton county, Georgia. The last I heard of my brother and sister they were in Alabama, with Wm. Dobbins. I think it has been 40 years since I have seen them. After the death of old man John Dobbins we were all divided out. I fell to John T. Baker, who lived in Wilkinsville, Clark county, Ga. When he died I was sold to a speculator. The last I heard of my mother and father they were in Monroe, Ga., with my old mistress, who died. My name was Henry Dobbins; I now go by the name of Henry Grant.
