Robert Ferguson and Ann Elizabeth Ferguson who were sold from Albemarle county, Va. five or six years before the war, were owned by Robert Barkly Moon, who lived at that time near a little town called Scottsville. My father's name was Peter Ferguson my mother's name was Francis Ferguson. There were two other boys Jasper and James Ferguson.
