Charles Ross, Co. H, 35th U. S. C. T., Brenham, Texas, wants the name of the Surgeon or Steward who assisted Dr. Warren to amputate the arm of a rebel soldier of Co. G. 4th Ga. Reserve Guards, at Andersonville, Ga., in the latter part of the Summer of 1864. Also the addresses of the two paroled Union prisoners who attended in the hospital at Andersonville, who went bathing with the writer. He thinks they belonged to the navy, and one was called "Scotty" and the other "Shakie." If living, they will remember the spring-board they had there at the swimming-hole below the prison-pen.
