MR. EDITOR - Please permit me to inquire for my daughter; her name was Marietta Sliny. She was owned by Mrs. Jane Hendre, and was sold from South in July or August, 1856, from Baltimore. Her father's name is Frank Sliny; her mother's name was Lester Sliny. She has two sisters and one brother named Henry Sliny, and another named France Jones, her married name, and a brother George.
