Mr. Editor - I wish to inquire for a friend of mine by the name of Johnson Davis. He left Fort Bend county, Texas, in the year 1872; he is now about 31 years of age and of a brown complexion. When last heard of he was in Louisiana, and I think he is there now. If any one can give any information concerning his whereabouts it will be gladly received.
