MR.EDITOR-- I wish to inquire for my relatives--my mother, sisters and brothers. Sisters were named Milly, Mollie and Jennie Alford. I learn that mother is dead; her name was Diana Alford. I left two or three other sisters behind but I can not think of their names. I was small when I left North Carolina, Walker county. Sister Evaline and I left at the same time, Hayward and Billie Alford. I was given to Miss Howell and then sold to James Nors, he sold me to Mark Jackson. When I left there my name was Stephen Alford, now it is Stephen Jackson. I ask the pastors of North Carolina and Holly Springs, Wake county, N.C., to read this from their pulpit.
