DEAR EDITOR -- I wish to inquire, for my brothers, who have been away since 1862. One was 21 years of age, named John Edward, the other 19 and named Solomon Thomas. There were six brothers of us. Mother, Nancy Simon, died in 1865, and left three daughters.

We used to belong to Pleasant Hill.
