MR. EDITOR-- I would like very much to hear from my brother, John Hendricks. I was born in Virginia, and when four years old I was carried to Newbury, South Carolina. I had a brother, William. Our mother was Millie. When old master Tolen died I went to Joe Tolen and brother John to Dr. H. Tolen. I was carried to Mississippi and some years after brought to Texas, adn have lived near Chapel Hill, Washington county, ever since. Brother John lived in Eufala, Barbour county, Ala. He talked of going to Atalnta, Ga.; he was aboot, shoe and harness maker; his wife's name was Jeannette. If any of your readers know of such a person I shall feel thankful for information, as though him I can find my only child, Betsy, wife of Tom Young, whose post-office was Chappell's, S. C., care of Colonel Renicks. My husband is dead. I live with my husband's niece, whose husband's name is Nelson Tolen. Please address me, Mandy Tolen, care of Mrs. I. Howells, Navasota, Grimes county, Texas.
