MR. EDITOR:--I wish to inquire for my people. My mother's name was Hannah Winkfield, and I had two sisters; Sallie and Jane. My brother's names were George and John. We had a niece, Eliza Jane Winkfield. We lived in Greensboro, Green Co , Ga., and I was brought to Texas by Mr. John Patillo and his wife, Amanda.
