 DEAR EDITOR--I wish to inquire

for my father-in-law, Robert Kirk- ingdoll [Kirkingdoll], whom I left in Calvert, Robertson Co., Texas, in 1876. His wife's name is Eliza. He had a deaf and dumb and one-legged boy named Johnny. He lived on Main street when I left. I got two let- ters [letters] from him in 1878, when Rev. A. R. Norris was pastor, and have written several letters to him du- ring [during] Rev. J. W. Robinson's pasto- rate [pastorate], and Bro. R says he heard that he lived three miles from town. His daughters Emily and Amelia would like to hear from him. Emily is my wife. Address me at San Fe- lipe [Felipe], Texas. PROF. W. H. JACKSON
