MR. EDITOR---Please allow me to inquire for a gentleman friend of mine. He was taken away in time of the war. His name was Irvin Loveless. His wife at that time was Harriet; her owner was Parson Lee, who lived about 3 miles from Dry Grove, Miss., and she had a son named Isaac; his owner was Willis Hand. He had two sons before he had this woman Harriet; one was Green, the other Zed. Their mother was Winnie, her owner Mr. Hand. When heard from last he was in New Orleans.
