Mr. Editor: I wish to find my mother. Her name was Clara Smith, she was sold from me when I was between six and seven years old. She was sold to the speculators and I don't know where. She was a small dark brown woman and had two other children. We belonged to Wm. Smith and lived in Rock-castle, near a big cave in Kentucky.  Any one learning of her, please send me word to Austin, Texas, care of the Rev. C.L. Madison.
