I first belonged to John Stokley, and was sold to Jefferson Bur-nette. Some of those with whom I lived were, Catherine Burnette, Bob Burnette, Moses Stokley, and Burk Stokley. My object is to secure information concerning my mother, who lived in North Carolina. Her name was Re-becca Patten: she belonged to John Patten who lived in Ashville, N. C. and at one time owned the Warm Springs. She was married to a man by the name of "Pad" or Thadeus John-son. My name is Charles Webb, but was owned by Allman, Stokley, and Burnette and always known as Charles Webb. Any information given will be gladly received. I am willing to give a liberal reward to find my mother. | ||
