She used to belong to Mr. Perry Jeans, in Lawrence Co., S C; then to his widow, Mrs. Annie Jeans ; and her son, Tom Jeans, brought my aunt to Mississippi some twenty-three years ago. my aunt's mother's name was Clara- she used to belong to Mr. Perry Jeans too The names of my aunt's sisters- those that I know- were Charlotte, that is my mother ; Nancy and Harriet. My aunt's husband's name was Bill Barnes. His former owner was Mr. Dick Barnes, of Lawrence Co., S.C. Address me at Pickens, Miss. | ||
