DEAR EDITOR - I wish to make some inquiry through our paper for my son, Lue Eller, whom I left in Alexandria, Va., with a man by the name of James Chattam, who bought me and my two children from William Campbell. Edward died, and then I was sold to a man by the name of Mellon, a negro trader, and Chattom kept my son Lue Eller with him. I left him in Alexandria, Va.
