I'm servant of Isaac Carpenter. Coleman Carpenter took one of my brothers to Georgia from Anderson county, North Carolina: Coleman Carpenter died and his wife sold him to Bill Bell. They say that he is now in Woodsville county. If you know where he is, I would be pleased to have you direct this to him. I have seen abundance of trouble. All my children are dead. I am now living with brother Jack Thirkill in Oxford, on the east side of town. He treats me well. I have a few grand children, but they are of no use to me and are scattered all over the country. Any information of brother's whereabouts will be most gladly received. Address me at Oxford, Miss., in care of Jack Thirkill. | ||
