My aunt Hannah was sold to John Denis at Monks Corner, South Carolina, about 1856. I belonged to William White. I had another aunt belonging to the same man. We all belonged to the old man Ben Brunson, who lived near Sumpterville, South Carolina.  I was sold when very young. I don't remember all of my people. They called me Simon, but address me
