I would like to find some of my relatives; my mother, Rose Sheals, went to Ben Sheals at or near Moplis, Ala. Chas., Julia Sheals and I went to John Sheals near a little town called Industry, Tex. I left three cousins in Texas by the names of Lace, Bob, David and Abram Sheals; at John Sheals' death we went to his children. York Catling was their guardian until their mother married John Holman. after which Ben Sheals, their uncle, came and took us away. I married Amanda Sample, a bright mulatto girl. We had no children, but she was about to become a mother. When I left I took a horse and mule and went to Mexico; since that time I have wrote but could find no trace of them. I am anxious to find my wife. Any informotion [information] will be thankfully received by Thomas Sheals, 366 1/2 Eldorado street Stockton, Cal. (Alabama & Texas papers please copy.)
